Bows & Flowers. Illustrating Sewing Plans

While my dress form is still drying, I had some time to illustrate my sewing plans.

Prologue

A magical commercial or I’d better say, a short-film by Gucci inspired me to draw a couple of illustrations. That film tells a story about a man and two girls, who spend their time in mystic and foggy Venice. The city is empty, everything is blurred and tainted with gold and foggy grey colours. It’s luxurious and bohemian, as very piece that Gucci produce.

Once I watched it, I couldn’t resist wanting that blue blouse with a bow (and a beige one too). I cannot afford to buy one, but I can make my own, it won’t be Gucci, but it will tell its own story.

I didn’t have enough time to make patterns and sew it: obviously, I would also need trousers to match it. Oh, yes, and a jacket, of course, in case of a cold night. So, I decided that I could at least dress my pencil-drawn alter ego in it. That’s ok for now, as drawing is another passion of mine.
